First time ordering from Il Forno and it won't be the last. The preparation time is a little longer than most places but that's because of how much love is packed into each pie. The dough and sauce is made in-house and you can tell from the first bite. The fries and onion rings arrived crispy and hot. The pizza comes with a dough ball and even that's a 10 out of 10. This is a pizza for a mature clientele to be paired with some nice wine and that's amore!
I have passed this 100's of time and finally went in hungry for a simple spaghetti meat sauce. I could not be happier with the portion size, the quality and the real grated parmesean cheese . I got great bang for my buck and I eat out almost daily. Thank you , you will see me soon.
My go to neighborhood pizza and usually get the all dressed. However tonight I got the smoked meat special to change it up and was really impressed! Thank you for the suggestion, it is my new favorite
I was hesitant to try, despite the great reviews because I'm ridiculously picky about pizza and never get lucky. However I finally, after 13 years have found pizza that made me go WHOA! THIS is what pizza is supposed to taste like!! The cheese, the pepperoni, the sauce and the dough, all amazing and worked perfectly together. And the crust! My god the crust! I, the hater of most pizza crust, ridiculed by family and friends for my refusal to eat it, was blown away. The dough was soft, fluffy, moist, flavorful. And the crust, with that perfect crispiness. Just spot on! And it just perfectly completed the pizza. Perfection! And it was so filling! I had to tap out after 1 slice. But since the XL pizza is a generous size (and a very reasonable price FYI) we've got left overs! The pizza alone is enough for me to recommend it. But the customer service was also above par. I highly encourage you to call and order directly from them. Great service, free, fast delivery and bonus, you're supporting a local business with 100% of the proceeds going to them and not an exploitative delivery service company that takes 30%. Sorry, no pics of the whole pizza, I didn't know it was going to be so amazing. But I remembered to snap a few halfway through.
This was the best pizza I've had since I was a kid. Its been years I've been looking for old school pizza. Dough is absolutely amazing. Pizza is thick and filled with ingredients. Price is very good. Just found my new PIZZA place. Awesome job Pizzeria IL Forno.
Recently tried Il Forno since my wife and I were in the mood for some pizza. Food was great and reminded me of old-school style pizza (which is a good thing). Hearty and rich, good dough that was well cooked, plenty of cheese without being oily or greasy - great pizzas all around. The night we ordered there was an issue with the delivery service (as these things tend to happen) and the pizzas were delivered by the owner herself which shows the customer-oriented philosophy of the establishment; something which is unfortunately a rare sight in the restaurant industry these days. Will definitely be ordering again soon and recommending to friends and family!
It's been awhile we had take out pizza this good!! Both regular and thin crust all dressed, delicious! We had heard/read so many good reviews and it didn't dissapoint. So satisfying!
Has an old school neighbourhood pizzeria feel from circa 1975. Friendly staff. Canadian style pizza. Fresh. Tasty. Subs are solid as well. Worth a try if you’re in Laval. Buon apetito. ...
